Harleyford golf club wedding
Situated in Marlow Buckinghamshire Harleyford estate is a majestic and stunning venue. I had the chance to visit the venue a few days before the wedding and forming ideas on the photograph I wanted to produce on Helen and Tats’ special day.
I can still remember it was a sunny and warm day, and we started the day at the house where Helen was getting ready with her bridesmaids. Like many bridle preparations, it was in the family home of the bride. The room was airy and light which gave me opportunities to use natural light to produce some very elegant black and white images. As the day progress, there were more surprises installed for me as a photographer when I arrived at the location where Tates was getting ready with his “best lady” , an indication that they are not your normal wedding couple. They like to do things their way.
It was a stunning country hotel, only a couple of miles away from Harleyford golf club and the beautiful room is the perfect location for me to make some really stunning groom preparation photography.
After the wedding ceremony and a short reception, we got on to a couple of golf buggy and headed to some amazing locations in the grounds that cannot be accessed by foot. The results are some really stunning wedding portraits.
Helen and Tats' "Uniquely Your" album.

For Helen and Tat's album. I wanted it to be a bit edgy but also elegant. Black was the theme for their album. I knew they enjoyed heavy metal and wear black most of the time. In fact, Helen has told me they met at a concert. I took inspiration from there then designed the album with some split image effect and used lots of black backgrounds. I can honestly say that the way it was being designed was truly unique and it is bespoke to who they are as a couple.
